Connector
A connector is the code that lets a SOAR call one product's API, for example an EDR or a ticketing tool. Vendors call it an integration, an app or a pack. A playbook is only as portable as its connectors, because a missing one stops a step.
What Connector means
A connector wraps authentication, requests and output fields. Vendors ship them, partners publish them and customers write their own through a builder.
Check the custom path as well as the count. A product with few connectors and a good builder can beat one with many and no way to add yours.
Connector in Torq's own words
Torq's Integration Builder creates custom integrations with step and trigger types, needs the Workspace Creator role or higher, and shares the result workspace-wide. Torq documentation, read 2026-11-03
