Autonomy mode
An autonomy mode sets how much an AI agent may do without asking. Common settings run from recommend only, through supervised, to acting alone under guardrails. A product that sets autonomy per action class gives finer control than one that sets it per product.
What Autonomy mode means
The modes answer one question: who decides. Recommend only leaves every decision with an analyst. Supervised lets routine steps run and asks on risky ones. Auto-run acts and logs.
Ask how a category moves between modes and what pushes it back. Documentation that names the rule is better evidence than a slogan.
