Context graph

A context graph is a store of linked facts about an organisation, such as identities, roles, assets and past decisions, that an AI agent reads while it investigates. Vendors use it to ground agents. Ask what goes in, how fresh it stays and whether it can be exported.

What Context graph means

The idea is that an agent with context makes fewer wrong calls than one with only the alert. That is a vendor claim until someone outside measures it.

Two vendors in this set have one: Mate calls its store the Security Context Graph, and Torq bought Jit to add one. On the pages read, neither publishes a schema.

Context graph in Torq's own words

Torq bought Jit on 2026-05-19 for an AI context graph that informs investigations with identities, roles, privileges and data sensitivity, and the price was not disclosed. Torq documentation, read 2026-11-03
